Current Everyday Makeup

At the moment, I'm all about quick and easy makeup. I've gone from an enormous shoe box full of it, to a pretty hefty wash bag, to what I have now - a very portable little makeup bag for just the things I need day-to-day! I'm really enjoying minimal makeup, especially during the summer months when too much on your skin can feel a bit heavy. I've gone back to an old experimental purchase of mine - Mac Face and Body. I initially didn't get on with it because it appears to have almost no coverage, but now I like it for that very reason. It evens out the skin while going almost completely undetectable, your skin still looks like skin, it's buildable without going patchy, and it sets down so you can skip the powder! A recent discovery is the Maybelline cream eye shadow i'm wearing. I tend to find powder eye shadows don't always apply evenly to my lids (especially matte shades) and avoiding fallout is tricky, but with a cream eye shadow you can dip a finger in, blend it out and you're done! I'm also all about the longevity aspect of a cream that sets.
If i'm wearing anything more than just mascara, I'll definitely be wearing my favorite lipstick - Mac Creme Sheen in Creme de Nude. It works well with my skin tone and the semi sheer formula means it's not a chalky nude and therefore very wearable for everyday.
